A wonton-wrapper maker in Guangdong had been rolling sheets on a 30-year-old hand-cranked sheeter. Output topped out at 200 kg of sheets per shift and required two operators to keep pace with the dumpling line. Sheet thickness also drifted between 0.6 mm and 1.2 mm depending on operator fatigue.
The Challenge
The maker needed a machine that would push out at least 600 kg of uniform sheets per shift, hold thickness within ±0.05 mm of a 0.8 mm target, and survive an hourly wipe-down in a hot, humid production hall. The existing line layout also had to be reused.
The Solution
We supplied a commercial dough sheeter with a 2.2 kW motor, hardened-steel rollers, and digital thickness control. The PLC locks the operator-set thickness and rejects any sheet outside the tolerance band, so the downstream wonton former always receives a perfect sheet.
