A Shaanxi-style liangpi maker in Xi’an was producing cold noodle sheets on a 1980s-era semi-automatic line. Output was capped at 1.2 tons per shift, sheet thickness drifted, and the steam-cooking step was a bottleneck that exposed workers to scalding risk.

The Challenge

The maker needed a fully automatic liangpi production line – flour mixing, dough sheet forming, steam cooking, cooling, and cutting – in a single integrated system. Capacity target was 3 tons per shift with no more than 6 operators, and the line had to fit inside the existing 200 m² production hall.

The Solution

We delivered an automatic liangpi machine with a 4 kW motor, integrated steam tunnel, and PLC temperature control. The line now handles mixing through to finished sheets with 6 operators and produces 3 tons of liangpi per shift.
