A 200-head-per-day beef slaughterhouse in Henan Province was splitting beef carcasses with two hand-held reciprocating saws. The setup needed four operators per shift and exposed workers to repetitive-strain injuries. Cuts were inconsistent, leaving primals that needed re-trimming before deboning.

The Challenge

The facility needed a single workstation that could split a half carcass into hind- and fore-quarters in under 90 seconds, hold ±5 mm cut accuracy, and survive three daily wash-downs. Floor space was limited and the existing rail layout had to be reused.

The Solution

We deployed a JARVIS-style heavy-duty industrial band saw with a 4 kW IP67-rated motor, 3,160 mm blade length, and PLC thickness control. The saw bolts directly to the existing operator platform and integrates with the plant’s stainless-steel drainage.
